HeyMoa
Who's on notes this week?I did it last week…

Meeting notes, no note-taking

HeyMoa transcribes while you talk and picks out the decisions and tasks. When the meeting ends, it also sorts out who said what.

The sample meeting “Sprint 3 kickoff”. Remarks are transcribed, and tasks and questions appear on the Timeline. Someone asks My agent mid-meeting, then recording is paused and the meeting ends, and the Summary tab shows the Finish review bar. It then starts over. Use the Pause button above to stop it.

Did someone really say that?

Expand any decision or task to see the part of the transcript it came from. Check what was actually said there, and edit or remove any line that got it wrong.

Below are the Transcript and Summary tabs of the same meeting. Four lines in the transcript became two decisions and two tasks in the summary. The Summary tab is shown before Finish review. Once you switch on the decisions and tasks to keep and click Finish review, a confirmation appears first, and a finished review can't be edited.

Where did those meeting notes go?

Every meeting lands in its project

No more passing notes around. When you start a meeting, it shows up in the project's list right away, along with how long it was recorded and how many participants were picked in the Details tab.

Admins invite members by email. People who don't have an account yet sign up through the link in the invite. There are two roles: Admin and Member.

Sample screen. The Onboarding improvements project lists three meetings by date. Next to it are the member settings for the same workspace, with four members and one pending invite.

Your meetings reach the tools you use

HeyMoa's built-in agent and the Claude Code or Codex you connect both work from what was said in your meetings.

My agent

Nothing goes out until you approve it

In the same chat where you ask about a meeting, you can ask for a Linear or GitHub issue. Even if the workspace is already connected, it checks with you before creating each one, and tasks from the meeting never move over on their own.

An approval card comes first

It shows where the issue will go, with its title and description, and waits until you approve or decline.

Figure 1 (sample): a My agent chat next to the “Sprint 3 kickoff” meeting notes. Asked to turn the onboarding drop-off logging into a Linear issue, the agent checks first and shows an approval card for creating it. Nothing is sent before you press Approve, and the input box stays locked until then. If you decline, the chat records it as “Declined.”

Connect your AI tools and they can look up past meetings

Connect HeyMoa to an AI tool like Claude Code or Codex, and right where you work it can look up decisions, tasks, and meeting notes, then link you to the HeyMoa screen you need. You create each connection yourself and can disconnect it at any time.

Figure: one connection on the My MCP connections screen in settings (sample). Laptop Claude Code is connected, and the expanded usage list shows when it fetched what and how many items. Revoking blocks it from the next request and can't be undone.

Common questions

Is it a web app, or is there a desktop app?

Both. You can use HeyMoa right in your browser, and there's also a desktop app for Mac and Windows. The desktop app records your microphone together with the sound coming from your computer, and shows the Timeline in the menu bar. Either way, you sign in with the same Google account and see the same meeting notes. The Windows version is in beta.

Download the desktop app
Are decisions and tasks final as soon as the meeting ends?

No. When you end the meeting, HeyMoa analyzes it and lays everything out in the Summary tab. Decisions and tasks reach the project only after you switch on the ones you want and click Finish review. Anything you leave off stays in the meeting notes. If the meeting is still recording, click Pause first and then end it.

What if someone changes their mind mid-meeting?

The Timeline doesn't delete the reversed item. It strikes it through and marks it Retracted.

What if a line comes out wrong?

You can edit or exclude any line, and change a task's assignee and due date. Excluded lines aren't deleted. They stay struck through, and Undo exclude brings them back.

What if a new decision overrides an earlier one?

The Summary tab attaches a "Replaces an earlier decision" suggestion. To add the new decision to the project, switch it on and choose whether to replace the earlier decision or keep it.

See it on the weekly meeting card
So what does the note-taker do now?

In the Summary tab, fill in any missing assignees and due dates, fix the lines that came out wrong, and click Finish review. Speakers aren't separated during the meeting, so you put names to them in the Transcript tab after it ends.

Wherever you meet, just keep HeyMoa on

Keep the meeting app you already use. HeyMoa doesn't join the call. It listens through your laptop mic from the next tab, so there's no bot to invite and no integration to set up. To record your computer's audio as well, get the desktop app.

  • Zoom

Open your Zoom call and start a meeting in HeyMoa. The two apps never need to be connected.

  • Google Meet

Open one more tab next to Meet. When the meeting ends, decisions and tasks are gathered in the Summary tab.

  • Microsoft Teams

HeyMoa never joins the meeting, so no unfamiliar bot shows up in the participant list.

  • Webex

It works even if your company chose the meeting app. There's no integration to ask your admin for.

  • Slack huddles

Decisions from a quick huddle don't slip away.

  • Discord

What you settle in a side-project voice channel gets written down too.

  • Meeting room

Put a laptop in the middle of the table and it captures an in-person meeting with no screen at all.

  • Any other app

Listed here or not, if your laptop can hear it, HeyMoa can write it down.

For your next meeting,
retire the rotation

Put HeyMoa down for this week. Nobody has to argue about who did it last week.
