The meeting ended but there's no summary

Where to check, and how to request analysis again, when the Summary tab is empty or analysis failed after you ended a meeting.

What's happening

The meeting is over, but there's no summary in the [Summary] tab. Or you see “Couldn't analyze the meeting”.

Where to look first

In the note's [Summary] tab, look at the progress stages ([Speaker separation], [Analysis], [Review], [Confirm]) and the message shown.

Try these steps

  1. Check that the meeting status is [Ended] The status is shown at the top.
  2. If it's [Recording], click [Pause] The recording hasn't finished yet.
  3. If it's [Paused], click [End meeting] Analysis starts only after the meeting ends.
  4. Open the [Summary] tab However, in the side view this tab appears only after the meeting ends.
  5. If you see “Analyzing the meeting”, wait It can take a few minutes. You can go to another screen in the meantime.
  6. If you see “Waiting for analysis”, click [Request analysis] Analysis starts.
  7. If you see “Couldn't analyze the meeting”, click [Reanalyze] Your transcript and meeting record are still there.
  8. Check whether the [Transcript] tab has content If the transcript is nearly empty, there's nothing to analyze.
  9. If it still doesn't work, send a request Report it under [Problem or error] in [Help & feedback] in the sidebar.
